We are a Canadian firm providing remote bookkeeping services to businesses across Canada.

  • We provide bookkeeping services only. We do not prepare corporate or personal tax returns.

  • Nothing on our website is tax, legal, or investment advice.

  • Client work is governed by a separate written service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement applies.

Using Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems

  • Interfere with the operation or security of our website

  • Submit false information, or information about another person without their permission

  • Copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission

Quotes, Fees, and Payment

Pricing and quotes shown on our website or provided before an engagement are estimates and may change. Final fees, scope of work, and payment terms are set out in your service agreement.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete, accurate, and timely records and information

  • Reviewing the reports and statements we prepare

  • Their own tax filings, government remittances, and business decisions

Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

By providing your phone number and checking the text message consent box on our website, you agree to receive text messages from Shingatok Bookkeeping Services. Messages may include:

  • Replies to questions or inquiries you send us

  • Appointment and consultation reminders and scheduling

  • Updates about your client account, documents, invoices, and bookkeeping work

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Third‑Party Services

Our website links to or uses third‑party services such as Calendly for scheduling. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third‑party websites or services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
